Meridian Launcher — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Short version: Meridian collects nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no accounts. Your layout, settings, and everything else stay on your device. The only network requests the app can make are two features that are off by default, and they are described below.

Data we collect

None. Meridian has no analytics or telemetry of any kind, no crash reporting service, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party SDKs that phone home. We cannot see how you use the app, and we do not want to.

Data stored on your device

Your home-screen layout, folders, settings, icon customizations, and optional local backups are stored only on your device. If you choose a backup folder, backups are also written there. Crash logs (if the app ever crashes) are written only to the app's private storage and are never transmitted; they exist solely so the launcher can recover itself.

Optional network features (off by default)

Permissions, and why each exists

Declining any permission never blocks the rest of the app.

Data sharing and sale

We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to anyone, because we do not have any.

Children

Meridian does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted at this address with a new date. Material changes will be noted in the app's changelog.
